When I create a new list, is it possible to clone the settings and formatting from another list?It seems crazy there's no easy way to keep colors and font choices and other customizations when creating a new list. It would be super helpful to have this instead of having to customize every list from scratch with our brand colors and voice etc.
I have 382 subscribers in my Shopify subscribed list, however; only 331 of those are converting over to my subscribed Klaviyo list. I have everything correctly checked within the Klaviyo app integration tab. Can somebody please advise where this discrepancy is coming from. Thank you.
We have both an e-commerce store and ship all over the country, and a local retail store in our hometown. How can we set up a segment or list for the two different “locations?” We use Shopify POS for our retail store and Shopify website builder for our e-commerce. Thanks!
80% of our klaviyo profiles are non-usable profiles. we can't send marketing to these, it needs to be stored more in a database. Our profiles are growing every month so we have to pay a more expensive subscription with klaviyo after every month. is there any way to store these klaviyo profiles somewhere else?
There seems to be a character limit when selecting Shopify properties like “Product Title” from which t run actions or create a segmentation for an audience within Klaviyo. Unfortunately, we’ve been Klaviyo members for multiple months and can’t seem to segment even one of the 40+ audiences we can verbally describe-- mostly due to this weird glitch. For example, let’s say we want to select a single product from which to trigger an email...but the product name starts with the same naming convention and style of hundreds of other productse.g. “Cubic Zirconia Engagement Ring- The Jessica” might be the product nameWell, in the drop-down box on Klaviyo, we can’t even find that product. All it shows is hundreds of truncated products that only go to“Cubic Zirconia Engagement Ring- Th” so apparently that is the character limit.Has anyone encountered this and found a workaround?
Hi, I have just started with Klaviyo and I have created one newsletter list which is connected to an offer. I have also created a list for a ad campaign. My dilemma is that when the ad campaign is over I want the people in the ad campaign to start getting the newsletters, without the discount in the newsletter list. How do I do this? Do I need to change anything in my set up or what do I do?
Hello, Just a quick one really. We ran a collaboration competition with a brand where we gained constent from those entering the competition to join our mailing list too. I want to import these people to my main list and will do this via a CSV with their email address and any other info we have. I also want to make sure their profile is set up with consent method to say they came from that competition. What property should I be using in my CSV to ensure this is imported with the list?If there are people on the list who are already a member in my mailing list, as this might be possible, will it just update their profile and not duplicate, make a new version. And I take it as soon as I import them they will be directed into my welcome flow? But those who already exist won’t go into it? If that makes sense? Just any completely new member? ThanksShelle
Hello, in my account I have a “60 day non-opener segment” and here’s the definitionOpened email 0 times in last 60 days or Clicked email 0 times in last 60 days and is not surpressed and has received email at least once over all timewhen I clicked into the list, it included people who just subscribed to my list like 30 minutes ago! It doesn’t make sense to consider them non-openers if she has only got the first email and happened to have not opened it within the first 30 minutes! How do you all set up your non-opener list to prevent this from happening?
Hey Everyone,I did a landing page using Pagefly and used their third party Klaviyo form to collect emails. The integration worked perfectly. However, it is going to a different list of the one I specifically created for that.I created a “LandingPage Subscribers” list and I put my welcome series email to be triggered “when someone subscribes to Landing Page Subscribers. However, when someone is subscribing through this form it is going to a “potential customer” list that was already created by Klaviyo as default. How can I fix that?Thank you again and God bless,

How can you segment all emails that subscribed/enter your list over all time? Whether they are still subscribed or unsub already
I would love to know how I can put all the emails that have subscribed and unsubscribed in a store. This means all emails that has ever been connected in a store from the very beginning up until present...all of them. What should be the definition when you're segmenting them? Thanks so much
Hello, I have a lot of customers complaining that they are landing on a 404 page of Klaviyo when being directed to my sign-up form. They are being directed from the Instagram sticker link directly to my Klaviyo form, and are seeing attached error message:“sorry, that page isn’t actually here.”I did get +200 submits yesterday, so for some it is showing (including myself). How can I solve this, cause this is not a good customer experience and making me loose customers :( Thank you!Annelore
Hello,I had the article about Lists & Segments several times but still don’t understand how segments work. Can someone help me with the following questions? My sign up form has two options: Boys and Girls. Depending on what people select, their profile goes to the corresponding segment (Boys, Girls). Is this correct? There is also a Newsletter list which I never understand where the profiles come from. How do profiles get added to this list? Will there be duplicate profiles? For example, is it possible for someone to be in both a segment and list? I have existing subscriber list from Mailchimp that needs to be added. It looks like I can only add them to the newsletter list not segments. Why?Thanks!
I have a query regarding Engagement Tracks and the Daily, Weekly and Monthly categorisation.I’ve re-read this article 2 or 3 times:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037527052-How-to-Create-a-Sending-Schedule-Based-on-Email-EngagementDo I make the decision to send daily, weekly or monthly and then set up the Tracks? Or do I have to set up Tracks A-E for every category? Then how do I use the track segments?I'm confused...
Hi all (first question!), When assigning products to a segment definition, I can’t see a way of selecting multiple products that meet my criteria at the same time. For example:We’re a soda business.Let’s say I want to target anyone that has bought cherry flavoured soda in the past.In the search bar, I type in ‘cherry’ which brings up all of our cherry sodas, with the small selection boxes on the left. There’s no ‘select all button’ (that I can see), and when I tick one product, instead of remaining on that search result screen, Klaviyo jumps out of it. I’ve tried the usual trick of holding down the ‘ctrl’ key, which usually works for multiple selections, but not here. I have to click each product and then rerun the search each time (which gets tedious when adding 50+ products to each definition!). Any guidance on this would be extremely helpful! Thank you :-)
Hello, I am trying to trigger a flow based on a customer shopify tag. Customers with this specific tag are not in a list or segment. Is there a way I can do this or do I need to add the customers with that tag in a specific list or segment? If so, can someone please explain how I can do this? Thank you
Hi! I have a flow in which all my new subs go. At the beginning of this flow, I create a property about the user called:In X Flow → True There were already subscribers going through the flow before I did that. I’m pretty sure this property does not apply retroactively to those who already went past the entry point and deeper into the flow. What’s the best way to add this property to those in the flow already? If I add a property update block at the last email fo the flow like this:Create a property:In X Flow → True What will happen to those who already have this property? If I instead do this:Update existing property:In X Flow → True If that property doesn’t exist in someones profile, it simply won’t do anything, right? Additional question. If a user has a boolean property, let’s say:In X flow → TrueDoes this mean that a user that does not have this property is automatically False? In X Flow → False
Hello,On our WooCommerce website, we have both guests and registered users who place orders.I’d like to set up a flow to encourage guests to create an account (eg. after their second order). I can’t seem to find any way to distinguish guest users from registered accounts in the data Klaviyo has on our store. Does anyone have an ideas here?Cheers,
I collected subscribers using Unbounce landing page software. The integration doesn’t allow sms consent to be passed through, so I am trying to upload a csv with the sms consent timestamp included. The upload appears to be successful, but when I check the profiles, the sms timestamp field doesn’t end up being populated with the data I’ve uploaded. The Unbounce form we used includes consent acknowledgement that complies with the Spam Act in Australia, so everyone who enters the form is explicitly consenting to sms. Hoping someone can help!
Hi all,I’m trying to have a custom unsubscribe page where i ask users the reason for their decision. So besides the usual ‘unsubscribe’ button, I have a list asking users why they want to remove their email.I followed the steps in here: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005077067-How-to-Custom-Code-an-Unsubscribe-or-Manage-Preferences-Page to create a custom page.I’ve also followed the steps here: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005074627-Guide-to-Properties to add custom properties when my users initially sign up.So the way im trying this is:I have a hidden input named ‘unsubscribed_reason’ when users sign up. (I have tried the same property with a $). In my unsubscribe form, I (try) to send this property back with whichever option the user selects. I would expect to see said property updated under the user profile after they have unsubscribed. This is the step im missing. Example of my code matching the example code.See my custom property named: ‘unsubscribe
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone can help me or whether there is a quick fix for my problem. I’m trying to simply export one of my segments so that I can create address labels, but the export is missing both address line 1 and postcode/zip code. I’m admin on the account so wouldn’t have thought it was an access problem - can someone point me in the right direction? It’s a fairly urgent problem, the address labels are needed for a mailout happening tomorrow. Many thanks in advance!
