Prevent Klaviyo generating hundreds of dynamic discount codes in Shopify

Hi, I’m hoping someone can assist.  I have a Klaviyo Newsletter Signup form on my website that triggers a Klaviyo welcome flow. The form generates a dynamic coupon code for a customers first order which is then sent to them in their first email. My issue is that Klaviyo is setting up 600 coupon codes in my Shopify every day, despite my store only being new and having a couple of signups and coupons sent out daily. At this rate, I am going to use up my shopify discount limit very quickly. How can I prevent Klaviyo generating any further codes until the existing ones have been used, or not generating so many? I’m assuming it’s because they have a 30 day usage period so new codes need to be generated each day with a new expiry date one day later than those produced the day before, but I don’t need anywhere near 600 producing daily at this stage. Thanks!

Will Klaviyo allow trigger splits for event properties that are also profile properties?

Hi all,There’s a limitation in Klaviyo where any event property that is also used as a profile property cannot be used in a trigger split. The property just doesn’t show up in the dropdown.In my opinion, this is a product limitation that needs to be fixed. Is there any plan to fix this? Thank you,Kevin.

Content behind an email wall (sign up forms)

Hi, we have an outlet within our Shopify store and I want to capture emails before users enter the outlet by triggering a pop up that acts like a wall - so user has to enter email details before entry. I have followed the very helpful step by step process to create a custom trigger (sign up form) and pasted the code onto the relevant Shopify page but the form is not showing up. Fetching All Recipients of a Campaign Using the V2 Endpoints

Hello, In the Klaviyo V1 api we could fetch all the recipients for a given campaign using the following api: GET/api/v1/campaign/{campaign_id}/recipientsThere does not seem to be an equivalent in the v2 endpoints. Looking at the comparison chart here: https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/docs/apis_comparison_chartIt suggests to use the following:GET/api/campaigns/GET/api/segments/{segment_id}/profiles/GET/api/lists/{list_id}/profiles/This doesn’t seem to allow us to recreate the same behavior as we could in V1. The campaigns endpoint returns a list of all campaigns. The segment endpoint gives you a list of all the profiles in a segment. And the list endpoint gives you all the profiles in a list.  A campaign isn’t necessarily associated with a list or segment as far as I can tell, and even so, just because a profile is an active member of a segment or a list, doesn’t mean that they received the email/sms from a campaign and it does not tell us the status.Am I misunderstanding the hierarchy

Double opt-in confirmation email isn't sending for new emails added via API

When adding users to a list with double opt-in enabled, the confirmation emails don’t appear to get sent. This may be because of testing and my IP, but the issue is happening for several other people, so I believe there is another reason.Adding a new user goes:Create/update profile endpoint so we can also add custom fields Then the profile-subscription-bulk-create-jobs endpoint for consent I have now tested with 2 different valid emails and have not received and email and they have not been added to the list. I already checked spam, trash and promotion folders. The mailboxes aren’t full and there aren’t any blocks on the klaviyo domain. Is there a problem with the way we are subscribing emails? Or do we need to add a custom domain?

Still NO textarea input field?

Hi thereIt's amazing: Klaviyo has many good features, but it doesn't have a textarea input field. Imagine you have to enter more than two words in a form field, the description of a problem, for example. You'll go crazy if it's all on one line. Post-Purchase Pre-order Flow with Tags

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to set up an email flow for customers that purchased one of our pre-order items. The issue I have is that we only have certain sizes/colours of two products up for pre-order, some that are still in stock, so was running into the issue of the Placed Order pre-order tag not registering in Klaviyo to trigger the flow or add people to a pre-order segment.  Any tips on a workaround or something I have missed? Thx!

Can I generate coupon codes with the costumer's first name as the coupon?

Is it possible to autogenerate coupons with their first name as it + a few digits in the abandoned cart?I want to make custom codes for example: Mathias abandonds a cart. He recieves the first e-mail with at custom code called “Mathiasxxxx” for example. And if Tina does the same she recieves a coupon with “Tinaxxxx”. Is that possible, and how?Best Regards

Confirmation email is not sent after signing to a list

Hello,I am using Klaviyo integration in Channelize via the API key. There is a form for people to add their email and join the list. With single opt-in everything works fine.But with double opt-in, users never receive the confirmation email and therefore are not added to the list. (And I have checked spams etc)Any hint of what to do to solve this?Thank you

Calculating a future date using an Event Trigger Date

Hi everyoneStill learning my ropes around Klaviyo and the dynamic variables. I found an article that allows you to calculate a future date using the “today” syntax, however does anyone know if it’s possible to calculate a future date using an event trigger property? I assumed that by adding the ‘days_later:XX’ filter, this would have made this possible, but it’s throwing an error. Variable Code: {{ event.Invoice_Date|days_later:90|format_date_string|date:'d F o'|default:'' }}Scenario: Wanted to communicate to customers payment due dates based on their order invoice date. Any suggestions and guidance would be highly appreciated!

Klaviyo Custom properties

I am using shopify and Make (instead of Zapier) to write a custom property called MakeOrderCount. The property has number of orders placed by a customer so far. Apparently Klaviyo does not have this information to use in an email.It works all ok and I do get custom properties populated to each profile. The problem is when I am using them in a logic, it does not work. The code is: {% if person|lookup:'MakeOrderCount' > 199 %}You are at Level 10, which means you are one of our most loyal customers, someone who has created the most social impact of any customer group. Hi, hope everyone is doing fine! I went through all the migration resources provided by Klaviyo. The one thing that isn’t still clear to me, that where we can find the code to update in Shopify? For example, I have a  “/track” legacy API now I want to update it with new version, where I can find the code to update this? And how to do it because the migration resources are not much clearer. Klaviyo API integration with Squarespace

Hi there,I am struggling to integrate snippet to track page views, content views, and cart additions. Currently my only API. Also, when setting up integration for the product feed into klaviyo, I had to use my google merchant, however, I was wondering if anyone know how could use directly squarespace, I was struggling in having my XML or JSON fee I believer. Product Review Import from Shopify Reviews

Hi!I imported a csv that has 22 reviews for a specific product in my shopify store, yet it only shows 6 in Klaviyo and on my website page.  I’ve re-imported the file, but it still only shows the original 6, so I’m not sure how to fix this nor verify if this is happening with other products as well?

Cross domain tracking with subdomain

Hi!Currently we are integrating Klaviyo on our website.We have two domains:Website “domain.com” Checkout “checkout.domain.com”I’ve already integrated the Javascript tracking with both frontend and server-side tracking with the Google Tag Manager.However only activities on the checkout page are getting tracked, since on this subdomain the user is identified via email when placing an order.How can I fix the cross domain tracking? Empty event is created with 202 by klaviyo api gem

What does status mean for a coupon-code in the API?

Hello everyone,I'm facing a situation with my email marketing strategy and need some advice. Here's the scenario:I'm sending out emails to subscribers who have opted in to receive alerts for new blog posts. In my blogs, I've categorized content into four different segments based on audience relevance. Allow Multiple Emails with different ID on Profile

I’m currently trying to Add Multiple Profiles with the Same Email but different ID. I’ve used the external id which is $id. Every time I trigger the profile with the same email. It overwrites and updates the profile and It doesn’t create a new Profile for the one with a different ID?

Hey,I have set up a mid-funnel lead generation campaign on Meta to get sign ups to the newsletter. How do I see who has signed up for this via the meta campaign?The segment I created does not seem to be showing.
