Birthday flow trigger didn't work and I can't figure out why

Hi, hoping someone can help me troubleshoot here. I created a sign-up form collecting customer birthdays. It’s set up like this; ​​​​​ I’ve selected “DD MM YYYY” as the capture format as we’re based in Australia and this is more common, but it is one of the provided drop downs within Klaviyo. And its mapped to a profile property called “Birthday”. The button is set to add the birthday, and source as hidden fields. *It displays the birthday as MM/DD/YYYY in the profile though. I then have a flow set up based on this trigger - date property: Birthday; start time: 3 months before date property; 12:00AM local time; repeats yearly; profile filters: limit the flow to only certain profiles (is in the Birthday Club). I created a test profile with a birthday of 21 March, and with this trigger, it should have entered the work flow yesterday and been sent the first email, but it didn’t, and I can’t work out why. How to enter variables of a third app via API?

Hello, I request your help because I don’t have huge experience in API and integrations. My store is Shopify. Despite of I was reading some articles I am a bit lost. I am using an app which is integrated with Klaviyo. the API is connected and I am able to create flows because the trigger works, so I can select the event without any problem. But the problem is when I create the email template. When the event occurs, the flow must send an email. Within the email I need to add some variables, for example the First Name or Product Image. My app says the variable should be ${first_name} or ${product_image}. How do I enter these variables within the email? Klaviyo just show its own variables. Are the Klaviyo variables the same for my app? If so, How Klaviyo knows what is the product for displaying the image? Thank you very much in advance. Miguel

Unable to check out. Please try again

Hello- new to the forum and hoping to get some assistance with upgrading my plan. I’ve updated my billing info multiple times, and have triple check the account plan page multiple times, but continue to get a “unable to check out. Please try again.” error when trying to upgrade my email plan. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How can retrieve all of my events?

I am trying to retrieve all of my events. I understand that the metrics/timeline API only allows me to retrieve a batch of 100 events. How am I able to get the next 100 and eventually retrieve them all?

Unable to upgrade billing plan

I am trying to upgrade to a higher plan from the existing free plan. I added my billing information successfully and trying to pay. When I paid the bill, I received an email to confirm my payment. When I clicked the Confirm Payment button in the email, I get the following error, thus preventing me from upgrading. Update: I got an additional message on the Klaviyo billing page as follows: This payment requires additional user action before it can be completed successfully. Payment can be completed using the PaymentIntent associated with the invoice. For more details see: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/overview#requires-action However, this page describes updates to the payment at the back end, which is not in my control.

I'm having trouble with fake orders!

It seems a bot is filling out my sign-up form and then randomly placing orders for various items in my shop, as shown in the image below. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, how did you stop it?

Klaviyo's rate limits

The issue I am facing involves Klaviyo's rate limits, which restrict the number of API calls I can make within specific time frames. I am sending around 22 requests per run (with 10 images), and depending on my tier, I might hit these limits. For example, i dont know if im on the XS tier, but i think i am and you can only make 15 requests per minute. If I exceed this, the API will throttle or block your requests, causing errors. I need to know how to either adjusting my program to stay within these limits or figure out how to get a higher rate limit. Basically my program down below is paired with a flask website that takes in around 10 images to be placed in a new template. That means there are 10 Post requests and 10 Get requests and 1 request to create the template. Updating a custom field in Klaviyo from Zapier

Hi!I’m having trouble updating a Klaviyo custom profile with Zapier. Whole story:Creating a flow for window shoppers who have not bought in X time, and sending them to Typeform to fill out a quick survey. Once someone completes a survey I want Zapier to look up that profile based on their email and update a custom field as TRUE. I’ve been using my own profile as a test, but Zapier keeps saying there’s a error when trying to connect to Klaviyo. I’m obviously not clicking something correctly somewhere! Side note - Although there is an integration available for Typeform, I cannot choose which survey questions I want pulled into Klaviyo. Typeform automatically creates a custom field for every question and populates it with the respondents answers. I don’t want their answers, I only want to show that they competed the survey and then send them a coupon once they submitted the survey.

API notifications for email delivery

I have a web app where I would like to show a list for each user of the emails they have received from Klaviyo. To track those emails, I was hoping to find webhook support in the API so my app could be notified when the emails are delivered, but I don’t see that. If I want to know which emails have been sent, do I need to poll one of the endpoints? I see that there are endpoints for metrics and that they can be treated as events, but it’s not clear what metrics are available or if they include email delivery. Maybe there is some way to track this through the email delivery mechanism? Thanks!

Created a extension attribute for magento orders to identify from which source it came. The arribute is already made visible in magento default REST endpoints. I need to sync that attribute value also with Klaviyo. How can it get done?

Updating Tracking Number

Hello, I have a problem with my “Order Shipping” flow. Some of my orders have 2 tracking numbers, I want to know how can I get the lastest tracking number. I am using {{ event.extra.fulfillments.0.tracking_number }} but this one only get the first tracking number and not the updated one. I want this event extra to be dynamic, and get the lastest tracking number.

How to track which links are clicked on an email

Is there any way to see which links in an email lead to conversions if the URLs for each link is the same? For example, I link to the home page in a few places on an email, but how do I know which link is the one leading to conversions? Is it the homepage link in the header, at the footer, or elsewhere? Is there a way to differentiate link clicks if they’re to the same URL?

Interest current date + 7 Days into email template

Hi There, I need to put an expiration date in a flow template, it show the current date (of email sent to customer) and the expiration date will be 7 days from current date. Ideally it would be the D d M Y format but if this isn’t possible anything else would do. I’ve check Django resources, however have had no luck at getting the date to show correctly. How to add Promotion Time base on the Dynamic Coupon

If I have created an abandoned email using flow and included Dynamic Promotion Code inside the email. The promotion will only be activated when the email send out, and ends in 3 hours after the email is out. How can I show the start and end date of the Promotion in the email Content ?

Reviews landing page for people to submit reviews on

Rather than a specific link to a specific product to leave a review based on a specific purchase - is there a way to embed all reviews on a single page of my site, that also includes a Review submission form? It would not be tied to an order but just a general reviews submission page. I’d like to send a campaign to those who have purchased, but haven’t yet reviewed, with a reminder that reviews are essential for small businesses like mine. Does anyone know of a way to do this? It would also be great to have reviews collected en mass all in a single location too, and I could highlight it for any lead gen links in future content.

magento module uninstalled but still JavaScript

Hi, We used the official Magento plugin via composer for about a year or so, but recently we're forced to stop using. We followed instructions to disable and remove, and inside admin config area etc are gone. However we still see a load of JavaScript on the front page. Does anyone know how to remove this pls? Dynamic product block not appearing on test preview

Issue with Shopware Integration via Overdose Digital: Profiles Marked as “Never Subscribed” on Signup

Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue with the integration of Klaviyo in Shopware using the Overdose Digital plugin. In my shop, we have an internal Shopware-provided form for newsletter signups. Users go through Shopware’s double opt-in process successfully. However, the subscription status in Klaviyo is not updated to “subscribed” as expected; instead, it remains as “never subscribed.” I would like the status to reflect as “subscribed” once the double opt-in process is completed, so these contacts are active for future email campaigns. Has anyone encountered a similar setup and found a solution? Or are there specific settings within the Overdose integration that need to be adjusted to ensure proper synchronization?
