Products showing as not published

I have recently re-opened my Shopify store, and re-opened my Klaviyo account. I am currently using the free up to 250 profiles plan. I have re-integrated the Shopify account, with all products syncing, the ones that are active, and ones that are in draft. All of the products are showing as not published in Klaviyo. When you click on the link in Klaviyo to open the product in Shopify, it shows an error page. I need to find out how to have the product show as published when they sync, and to ensure when clicked on, they go to the product page in my Shopify store. I am amazed that there is not at least an email support service available for a free plan. All other app’s that I have used, have that as a minimum, even in the free plan.

Another Typeform consent question

Hi, I would like to create a simple leadgen in Typeform, but can’t figure out how to sent GDPR consent to Klaviyo. What I usually do in Klavyo is create a chackbox and it simply passes value to Klaviyo dedicatted $consent property. How do I set the same checkbox in Typeform and connect it to mentioned property? Has anyone figured this out? Thanks.

Updating Birthday Field

Hi, We have not previously been collecting birthday information, but would like to start birthday campaigns in the new year. How do we let our current newsletter subscribers update their birthday information? Is the best way to create a new form, funnel people into that, download the CSV and then reupload it to our newsletter list? Is there an easier way? Also, would you recommend putting the form just in our regular email promotions? Thanks,Heather

Hi, I sent a campaign yesterday, and when i went to check the analytics there were a lot of profiles skipped because of invalid emails. My question is how can i create a segment of invalid emails so that i can exclude them for my future campaigns.

Add a LINK to subscriber's name variable to man age_preferences

​@Ashley I. ​@AndriyBoychuk Thank you for hosting another great NYC meetup on Monday.I am trying to build the manage_preferences link on the visitors first_name variable as you showed us on the big screen… IF the normal way to add a link to manage_preferences is: {% manage_preferences 'Link Text Lives Here - Click to join the Birthday Club!' %} I then tried: {% if first_name %}Hi {% manage_preferences '{{ first_name | title }}' %},{% endif %} and this does not render the first_name variable. I opened a ticket with support- they said this is not possible.But I saw with my own eyes your link on the screen. Can you please share the secret sauce? Thinking out loud, are you using HOSTED pages for preferences?I was using the Klaviyo provided. Should I be using HOSTED and we can make any links we want? Thanks! Custom property not mapped on import

I have created a custom property for my list, but when I import a small batch of contacts from another list, the custom property does not appear in the listi of properties to map. So eventually I have to input the custom property values by hand. Anyone has an idea how to force Klaviyo to show my custom property so I can map it to my imported values?

Additional Characters Added to Anchor Link After Sending

Hello, I’m trying to send an email that encourages people to register for early access to our sale via a sign-up form. I’ve created the email, as well as the sign-up form and list, and that all seems to working fine. As per the instructions I found on the Klaviyo Help Centre (below), I’ve added a Targeting By URL anchor link (which I’ve called #BDEarlyAccess) in the sign-up form. Here’s a screenshot of my anchor link: When I enter the full URL (with anchor link) into my browser, the sign-up form appears, so I know that’s working. I’ve added that same link to the relevant CTA buttons in my email. When receiving the email as a recipient, however, upon clicking the CTA, additional characters are being added into the URL (although still finishing with the anchor link), and the sign-up form isn’t appearing. See below: Please can anyone advise? Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to use one cloned flow from another account?

I’ve integrated Klaviyo API in my project. I’ve multiple accounts linked to my parent account, and mine is not an admin account. I’ve cloned one of the existing flow, but within my account. If I made the flow live, and triggered that email from my code, does this works or will throw any error?

Additional Filter Purchase to block specific email flow based on request ID

Hi,I have different flows. Every time a user sends a request triggering the custom event “New Lead” (with request_id parameter) he receives 3 emails (first one immediately, 2° after one day, 3° after another day). Users can send many requests so they will receive many emails from the same flow. Here’s the problem. If a user makes a purchase between Email #1 and email #2 or #3 triggers the custom event “Purchase” (with request_id parameter) and he shouldn’t receive the email after purchase. I think I can do that easily with additional filters BUT how can I stop the right email with that specific request_id of that purchase and continuing to send the other email for the request_id he didn’t purchase? API - Getting a list of recipients

We are trying to integrate Klaviyo with our CRM (Hubspot). I can’t work out how to get a list of recipients to a campaign. We want to be able to see what emails have been sent to customers from within Hubspot. I haven’t been able to find anything in the API documentation on how to get the list of recipients in a campaign? Later we will also want to do the same with flow emails.

Order Placed if item is out of stock

Hey Klaviyo folks! Is there a way to create a flow that sends an email to a customer if the ordered item is out of stock? The trigger is placed order, and I’m hoping to add a condition that says something along the lines of...if the item ordered quantity is <=0, send an email. I couldn’t find it. Thanks!

Show/hide block based on specific purchase history.

I have an email template with lots of blocks in it. I’d like to hide these selectively to a user based on their previous purchase (Shopify) history with us. Block A - Hide if customer has purchased product “ABC”Block B - Hide if customer has purchased product “XYZ”Block C - Hide if customer has purchased product “123” I’ve hit a number of roadblocks trying to get this to work and want to make sure I understand if I’m on the right track here: 1. You can’t use previous event data in a flow. It seems like I can only use event data as the trigger of a flow and can use that trigger data in the show/hide logic, but I can’t access previous event data. 2. I can use custom properties as the basis of show/hide logic. So to use custom properties for a user I need to make a flow that adds the custom data when triggered and can populate this with existing profiles. The limitation of this is: I need to make a separate flow for each SKU it seems? A flow can’t perform loops, only split off users in to

How to fix a distorted embedded form?

I've included a Klaviyo embedded form on my password page until I reopen. The PC version seems OK; however, the mobile version is distorted. Is there a way to loop a flow in Klaviyo using code?

I’m working on customizing flows in Klaviyo and was wondering if it’s possible to programmatically loop a flow. For example, after reaching the end of a flow, triggering it to start again automatically via code or API. Is there any supported method, workaround, or best practice for achieving this within the Klaviyo platform? Any guidance or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Lead Gen Download

I created a lead gen (pdf download) section on my website. It’s a simple a form on my homepage where potential customers can add their name and email to receive an email with a link to download the pdf. I created the form on klaviyo. I also created the Flow. How do I check to make sure the two are linked? I also gave at the bottom of my website on every page to sign up for my newsletter. That’s also triggers a different Flow. I want to make sure the two are working.

Testing Out Email Flows

Hello fellow Klaviyo users, I have created a pretty complex flow on Klaviyo based on several triggers like “x times purchased”, “x product purchased while being a customer for so long” etc. I wanted to test the flow somehow before taking it live. Is there a way to do this? Or can I test it on a limited audience before turning it on for everyone? I don’t want to change the logic by creating a test segment as that would beat the purpose of having a flow.

Hello, We own a custom furniture store and we wait to capture funds from our customers until after our order has been accepted by the vendor to avoid paying fees. As soon as we receive an order, the status changes to Awaiting Payment. It automatically switches to Awaiting Fulfillment after we capture funds. In this period, our customer has placed the order but still receives Abandoned Cart emails. How can we resolve this issue? Please let us know!

I need to add over 200 users to my Klaviyo newsletter list using the API.

I need to add over 200 users to my Klaviyo newsletter list using the API. While I know the manual process of uploading a CSV file, I want to automate this weekly task via the API. The endpoint I plan to use is: https://a.klaviyo.com/api/lists/{List ID}/relationships/profiles/ However, it requires a user profile ID, which I don't have. I can retrieve the profile ID using the following endpoint: https://a.klaviyo.com/api/profiles?filter=equals(email,"abc@gmail.com") But, given the large number of users, I want to avoid making individual API calls for each email to fetch the profile ID. MUST be checked against unsubscribe list in Klaviyo before added. When contacts are added to a list, they are subscribed even if they have previously unsubscribed. This is a critical step to comply with spam rules.
