Add/update SMS consent with zapier

Hi :-) My goal is to get SMS consent after subscription of a Klaviyo signup form. I want to use Zapier since Klaviyo do not sent OPT-IN to europe contries. I have followed this guide: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407486310683-How-to-Send-Consent-to-Klaviyo-via-ZapierWhen testing the code in Zapier no errors happens. However inside Klaviyo the profiles do not get marked with SMS-consent. While sending emails to our subs, near the email we see “via klaviyomail.net”. How do we avoid this?

Will a user go through my flow again if they sign up for another form that re-adds them to the List?

Hi there I have two signup forms on my website that are collecting emails to the same list.  One of the signup forms has a Profile Property “Hvalpebog” attached.  Is it possible that profiles that already is a member of the list, will receive another flow, when signing up again with the signup form with the Profile Property? Best Erik

Don't want to stack products on mobile - email is too wide

Hi,I don’t want to stack my product images on my mobile email. I want them to be displayed side by side but optimised for mobile. Currently if I don’t stack my products, the email is displayed so wide on my mobile that I have to scroll right to read.Why is this happening?

Trigger Post-Purchase Email when an Order is tagged in Shopify

Hi, I make my own products and takes up to 10 working days to produce. And when I finished working on an order, I will tag its Shopify order page as “production done”. When this happened, I like to communicate to my customers that their order is done and just waiting shipment. And on my end, Is it possible for Klaviyo to send an email to the customer when their order is tagged “production done”?  Thank you

Add fields to Shopify Sign-up form

Hi!I have Klaviyo connected with Shopify (with the App).My sign-up form (in a pop-up) shows only “First Name”, “Last Name” and “Email” fields and populate a specific list in Klaviyo.I want to add 2 fields : month and day for birthdays. I cannot find how to add these field (on Klaviyo side or on Shopify side) since I cannot edit this sign-up form.Thanks in advance for your help!Ren

Confused on what type of emails violate CAN-SPAM Act...

I want to make sure my emails are not violating the spam laws in the US.I get that someone who has opted out of receiving emails (therefore suppressed) cannot receive any marketing emails.What if someone purchases a product, has never subscribed to a list, and has never opted out of emails.Can I send them a an email flow 180 days after their initial purchase and try to get them to buy again without violating spam laws?This segment is setup by default in Klaviyo and is called “Win-back Opportunities”. It won’t send to suppressed profiles but it is not exclusive to subscribers.

Hello!We’ve been referring to the guides on tracking ‘viewed product’ and integrating with a custom integration.It seems that the API version we have been using is outdated. It does not seem there is documentation regarding this with the ‘klaviyo object’.We are wanting to integrate all of these items into Google Tag Manager.

Flow not triggering because "No More Uploaded Coupons Remain"

Hey all,I have a flow that should be pulling in a coupon that I manually uploaded (I use Salesforce Commerce Cloud).I get the error “No More Uploaded Coupons Remain” when I check the “skipped” sends. This can’t be possible because I uploaded 100,000 coupons and the flow just went live with a few participants.I have the exact same set up for my welcome series and that is working perfectly fine. Any ideas as to what could be causing this, please share!

Will revenue attribution appear right away, or after the 5 day period?

Hi all, Should revenue attributed to email flows being appearing in klaviyo right away, or is it only counted once the 5 day conversion period has passed? The reason I’m asking is I now have a few flows live etc, and there have been quite a few orders placed after receiving abandoned cart emails, such as below (although the screenshot doesnt show “clicked email” there have been a few) - but no flows has been live for over 5 days yet. I thought since everything else is reporting so quickly, it would seem like revenue would too. Thanks!

Trigger flow every time a customer orders specific product

I have an email with a discount code that I want to send every time a customer orders a specific product.I’ve set up a flow (see below) which works but is inconsistent.  The flow trigger works correctly when the trigger product (the ‘Gift Card’) is shown as ordered after the ‘Voucher’ product. See below: “your store credit” email correctly triggered The purchase order is always the same in Shopify (Voucher first, Gift Card second).But sometimes the ‘Gift Card’ is shown as ordered before the ‘Voucher’, even though it was purchased after the ‘voucher’.When this happens, no email is sent. No “your store credit” email triggered Its seems like because the orders are purchased so close together, the chronological order is sometimes incorrect and I’m not sure I’ll be able to a fix this.But I’m confused why the email isn’t triggered when the ‘Gift Card’ is shown as purchased first. It doesn’t seem like there is anything in the flow that would prevent the email from sending?  The 2nd issue is t

Excluding people with 'never subscribed' status from email sends

I’m creating a segment of people who have placed an order, but only want to include those who have actively subscribed to email marketing. Some profiles in our Klaviyo account have a status of ‘never subscribed’ (i.e. a yellow checkmark). Is there a way to exclude these people from the segment?

When using $source property what happens if someone fills out another form before the flow is finished?

Hi guys! I have a very similar situation to this existing discussion: From what I can tell, the $source property that is applied to a contact after signing up via a form changes when the same contact fills out another form with a different $source property. My situation is this:I want to have a three day flow for an ebook that customers will receive after filling out a form with a specific $source property.But what happens if this customer then fills out a different form before this flow is completed and the $source property on their contact changes?Will they stop receiving emails from this flow immediately? Or will the flow still finish? I’m not sure if this is an obvious question but I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere and want to make sure I know what will happen. Many thanks for your help,Maddie

Is there a Workaround for using Deep links for push notifications?

Hi!We implemented push notifications in our iOS app and would like to enable deep linking. I understand that Klaviyo does not currently support deep linking for push notifications, but wonder if deep links can be achieved through workaround, homegrown ways? If you can please share insights on how to set up deep linking for Klaviyo push notifications, that would be so appreciated. Thank you!Rachel

Abandoned Cart dynamic syntax

I’m trying to setup a flow for my first abandoned cart but I’m a newbie at this. What I’m trying to do here is greet the client, and introduce myself by stating my name. Next, the item left in the cart should be displayed and a hyperlink going to the order page. And display the purchase button.  At this moment the product_name doesn’t appear in the subject header nore in the body. How to add a Klaviyo Form on your Shopify Order Confirmation page (GIF)

Hi everyone - not sure if this is well known and I just was out of the loop, but I recently discovered a quick win for adding a Klaviyo embedded form to the Shopify Order Confirmation page.I used to think getting a form on that page required a developer but there’s a place in Shopify » Settings to just drop the Klaviyo form embed code. Gif below or step by step guide here.Great use-case for collecting more info about your customers right after they purchase, especially now with the BFCM rush.The gif and guide show an Instagram handle field using it to build influencer / community since that’s what Gatsby specializes in, but this strategy can be used for anything you want, like getting birthdays or product preferences to customize email flows, segments etc. Really good low hanging fruit opportunity that we’re seeing a lot of our clients jump on. Thought it would be good to share given that we’re getting into “the season of acquisition” with BFCM as @chasedimond just talked about on the

Shopify import 'if' tag was never closed ??

Hi , I get the error: Body html Liquid syntax error: 'if' tag was never closedI try to implement this email into my shopify. But appearnly it is missing and endif tag. I could not get figured out where. Tried different open ends, but everytime it showed less of the mail. How can i fix this? Un-suppressing profiles after a sunset flow

Hello! We just launched a sunset flow that asks customers if they still want to be on our list; it is sent to profiles who have been on the list for 180 days or more, but haven’t opened or clicked an email in the last 180 days. The email promises a coupon if they click the “Keep Me On The List” button. If they click the button, they are added to a segment, which triggers the coupon. So far, this process is working fine.The sunset flow adds a profile property of Unengaged = Yes (this is a text field, not a Boolean) to any subscriber who has not opened or clicked the button within 10 days of receiving it. My plan was to suppress anyone with the Unengaged profile property. However, I'm not sure of the best way to make sure profiles are un-suppressed if they click the “Keep Me On The List” button AFTER the 10 days has passed.My initial thought was to create a conditional split on the flow that triggers the coupon, so that if their profile has Unengaged = Yes, it is updated to Unengaged = R

Do transactional emails count as contacts for billing?

Hello,  I have just signed up and was wondering if anyone who has been using Klaviyo could tell me whether or not the customers that are not signed up to your marketing emails, but do receive a transactional mail through Klaviyo count as a “contact” for Klaviyos billing purposes? We want to send all transactional emails through Klaviyo instead of Shopify, but obviously that would add a lot to the cost if this is the case (with a lot less value) when you consider that only 5/10% of them actually sign up to marketing emails.  Thanks for your help!Alex
