When creating segments, you can include lists, but you cannot include other segments as segmentation criteria. Why not? Other ESPs and CRM tools do offer this feature, and it is very helpful. Why is it very helpful? I’ll give you an example:Let’s say you want to create a segment that includes:Everybody in a certain list; Everybody who last logged in to your website less than 90 days ago, AND who is opted in; OR Everybody who last opened an email from you less than 90 days ago.If you have pre-built segments for:“everybody who last logged in to your website less than 90 days ago, AND who is opted in; and“everybody who last opened an email from you less than 90 days ago”, every time you want to use these segments to create other groups, you can just use these pre-made segments as inclusion criteria, rather than having to select and combine a range of properties every single time you want to create a similar, but not identical segment. This functionality would save time, and it would also r
I've recently set up my Klaviyo account and integrated it with my shopify website. It recommended I create an email address that contains my domain name (rather than the outlook email which I have been using) which is now set as the default for replies etc when I send an email campaign. How do I check the inbox for it?? I can’t find it anywhere! Image attached - I want to check my inbox for firstname.lastname@example.orgI never created a password for it or anything, just typed it in when creating my first flow, as it was the recommended.
Hey there, nice to meet you guys. I’m building an abandoned cart flow right now and i want to have a trigger split which checks if the checkout has shipping costs included and if a discount code is used? Right now i’m just checking the $value but that is not exactly what i need. I’m using Klaviyo with Shopify if that makes any difference. Can anyone please help me with this? Kind regards,Michael
Hi everyone, I’m looking for a better way to manage a Replenishment Flow than what Klaviyo recommends in the prebuilt option. Currently, the prebuilt flow uses a trigger of “Placed Order” but waits ‘x’ days to send the first Replenishment email. I dislike the ‘x’ day wait since I’ll be waiting 25 days. I don’t want to wait that long before the first email delivers. Ideally, I want the trigger to have addition filters like:[Placed Order Zero Times Since Entering This Flow]+[Placed Order Zero Time In The Last 25 Days.]then[Send First Replenishment Email] ^ Would that logic allow me to remove the 25 Day Wait provided in Klaviyo’s prebuilt Replenishment Flow? Or, should the filter be[Placed Order 24 Days Ago]+[Placed Order Zero Times Since Entering This Flow]+[Wait 1 Day]then[Send First Email]
I am setting up new flows and under trigger options, “Has not been in this flow” is not appearing as one of my filter options. Why would that be and how do I fix it?Does that option only appear later after the list (which is also new) becomes populated with profiles?
Hoping that someone could point me in the right direction, I can’t seem to find a guide on this. With our pop up window, I would like to create a pop up window which offers people who sign up a $10 off code. However, I would like the code to be sent to them via email after they have entered their email address, and I would like the code to be unique to each person. Is this possible?
I am trying to consolidate multiple lists into one main list and then clean the list so I’m only sending to people who are interested in my emails. Currently, I’ve created a segment of all my lists and then converted that segment into a list. Now I’m trying to create a Sunset Segment to remove subscribers who are unengaged. In the Klaviyo instructions to do this it wants me to select people that have been on the list more than 90 days. But since I just created this segment and turned it into a list I’m concerned that it’s going to look at these people as being on the list less than 90 days (even though they’ve actually been on my email list for more than 90 days in most cases). What’s the best way to identify unengaged subscribers when I just consolidated all of my lists into one large main list?Any ideas or insights would be much appreciated!
Can a browse abandonment flow email be skipped if it contains a product the customer has already purchased?
Does anyone know if we can skip the browse abandonment flow emails if someone browses a product they have already purchased? Or at least hide it in the email itself.. I know it probably doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, it’s not a good customer experience.. I already have in the rules “has not purchased since starting flow”, and “has not been in this flow for the past 14 days”. If there’s not a solution for this, maybe Klaviyo can add it to their product roadmap?
Hi, I am using woocommerce and the klaviyo integration works pretty well with the Klaviyo plugin. That said, I am really trying to focus now on capturing emails of customers. When customers checkout through the normal checkout process, it works great, they are shown the opt in checkbox and then correctly added to our list. However, a large percentage of our customers use PayPal express checkout and are taken to a separate checkout / order confirmation page where the opt in checkbox is not displayed. This is not ideal as I am missing out on all of these potential subscribers. What I would like to achieve is to keep the opt in on the standard checkout as it currently is, and also to add it to this checkout page too when they checkout through PayPal express. The name of the plugin used for PayPal express is ‘WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway’.Thanks in advance!
Hi I’d like to send an email to push our customers to review our store in Google. We have 18 stores so I’m trying to understand how I could make the template dynamic based on the store the bought from (POS tag from Shopify). I know how to do this in the copy of the email but what I’m struggling with is to adapt the link in the CTA. Ideally, I’d like the link to be different for each store so it takes you to the Google review page relevant to the store you bought from. ThanksLeo
Hi there,I have created a List in Klaviyo and used that Lists ID to specify in the WooCommerce plugin where my new customers should be subscribed to. For some reason this stopped working; metrics are still collected without problems, the customers are just not added to the list….Settings:Enable Klaviyo signup forms: checkedDisable configuration warning: uncheckedSubscribe contacts to email marketing: unchecked (don’t want a checkbox)Subscribe contacts to SMS marketing: uncheckedWhat could be the reason this stopped working?Cheers,Cees
Hello all, I’m creating a Cart Abandon Flow and whenever someone orders a product that has Route Package Protection, the product shows up twice (it doesn’t simply display the purchased product/price/quantity plus Route Package Protection; it displays the product/price/quantity twice). How can I fix my flow so that it shows just one product, or at least display Route Package Protection separately? Thanks in advance!
Hello,I've been having a really hard time figuring out why the emails gathered from my footer sign up form do not get into the "Newsletter" list and Welcome Email flow. I've already added this in to the form group and i see that the emails are getting tagged as "Newsletter". <input type="hidden" name="contact[tags]" value="newsletter">I also did the ff:- enabled single opt in- welcome flow email is live Did i miss something?
Hi folks, I’m very new to Klaviyo, and I’m trying to make things easier not harder. (I’m not sure how successful this is right now 🤦♀️)We have the usual pop ups and signs up set up to add to our newsletter list but in our Cellar Door shopfront we use the Vend software - So once a week I’ll be manually adding these subscribers to our list. (unless there is a magic integration i’m yet to find) As they have come direct from our cellar door I’d like to still do a welcome series but i’d like it to be different to the one that organic subscribers see (specifically because they wont be getting a discount) What’s the best way for me to upload these people and have a separate flow? Is it creating a separate list and then adding them to campaigns or should I segment somehow? It’s all bit overwhelming. Thanks
Hi!I've done the Woocommerce integration, all the events are correctly uploaded in Klaviyo exept the Started Checkout. I tried to reinstall the plug in, but nothing worked.I also did some tests myself following the directions found on this community but they don't seem to work.Any advice?
Having a issue seeing my Klaviyo pop up sign up form on my woocommerce website, which is very frustrating.I have already installed klaviyo and linked my woocommerce with klaviyo. I’ve built my first sign up form. When I hit publish, I receive the following message: “Your signup form has been published and will appear on your website if the code snippet has been installed” But when i checked my website the pop up form is not showing up. I have checked all settings on the pop up form and everything i think can be wrong disturbing the form from showing up but i can't find solution to it. I also check the install Code Snippet but it's say “Signup forms are successfully installed on your site” What’s the solution?
Hey everyone! I’m looking to use click-to-text banners to capture SMS consent through our emails, and I am having trouble finding any examples online. I was wondering if any of you came across any examples?I know that it’s as simple as a text box in terms of look, but I was wondering if anyone played around with copy / design and can show some examples :)Thanks in advance.
Hi,I’m working on setting up a new abandon cart flow and seem to be:Pulling in multiple events for the same customer (see attached images) Pulling in ImageURL different across the two event profiles Therefore rendering the product image in one of the emails invalid Sending out more than one email to a single customer for the same eventHas anyone run into this issue before? Thanks,Sharan
Hello,Currently, my client is using “Revenue Hunt” in his brand. So he has this form/test integrated in his website. After filling out the form, Revenue Hunt will then suggest 3 products that are fit to the liking/preferences of the person. We would like to incorporate these 3 suggested items in a flow. So, everytime the person fills out the form, he will enter our flow. First email of the flow will then contain these 3 suggested items. How do I do that? Is there a certain coding that I need to do? Also I made sure that his Shopify Account and Revenue Hunt account is integrated. Thank you in advance!
